"Vita Activa"
A one-of-a-kind ceramic cup from the Words to Hold series.
“Vita Activa,” meaning “the active life,” is central to Hannah Arendt’s The Human Condition, where she considers three fundamental human activities: labor, work, and action.
The Words to Hold series gathers language from philosophy, literature, and the zeitgeist that I wanted to give physical form and keep close at hand.
Glazed stoneware.
Approx. 3.8" H × 3.1" W × 3.1" D
